Run for the Roses 5k - Roselle
The Run for the Roses 5k is presented as an annual community road race held in Roselle with the event centered around Lake Park West High School. The main event is a USATF certified 5k on closed neighborhood streets and the program also includes a chip timed kids race for ages 12 and under.

The 5k course is described as flat and fast and uses closed local streets. The start line is reported as 30-foot wide. Parking is available on site near the start and finish area. Indoor and outdoor restrooms are provided at the venue. Post-race refreshments are offered.
The kids race departs from the northeast side of the high school parking area, routes participants onto the 400 meter track for one lap, and finishes at the same location as the 5k. Race-day registration is available on site. Packet pickup is held in advance at Xtra Mile Running, 31 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL. The deadline for guaranteed t-shirt availability has passed and remaining sizes may be limited.
