Run for the Roses 5K and Family Day
Run for the Roses 5K and Family Day is a Derby themed 5K fun run and community event in Hastings, Minnesota on May 2, 2026. The event supports This Old Horse, Inc. and is set in historic downtown Hastings at Levee Park, 20 Ramsey Street.
The course is an out-and-back route that follows the Mississippi Riverwalk and starts and ends at Levee Park. The race is officially chip timed and results are posted on the Wayzata Results website. A Strava route is provided for the course.
The day includes live music, food trucks, Derby themed activities, and runner specials at local bars and restaurants. Leashed dogs are allowed. The event is described as family friendly and includes activities beyond the 5K race.
