Run for the Roses 5k and Family Day
Run for the Roses 5k and Family Day is a Derby-themed community event in historic downtown Hastings. The out-and-back course starts and ends at Levee Park and follows the Mississippi Riverwalk. The in-person 5K is an official chip-timed race with results posted on Wayzata Results.
Event features include live music, food trucks, Derby-themed activities, and runner specials at local bars and restaurants. Brooks Running Shoes will have a pop-up tent on site. Leashed dogs are allowed.

The virtual option includes a mailed shirt and allows participants to submit a photo from their location. Proceeds support This Old Horse, Inc., which provides lifelong care, retraining, and sanctuary for off-track Thoroughbreds.
