Event Overview
The Michigan Men's Health Foundation hosts the annual Run for the Ribbon at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak. This event supports prostate cancer survivors and their families. The event features a variety of participation options held within the grounds of the Detroit Zoo:

- 1-Mile Stroll: An untimed walk inside the zoo.

Participant Information
All participants in the in-person events receive a race shirt, a medal, and complimentary entry to the Detroit Zoo. The venue provides parking in a dedicated structure or a surface lot near the main entrance. According to zoo regulations, dogs are not permitted at the event.
Additional Activities
The event includes several commemorative activities. Participants may dedicate "In Celebration of" signs to be placed along the route or utilize back bibs and colored beads to honor loved ones. A "Men's Health Hero Wall" is also available for pinning tribute ribbons. Competitive awards are presented to overall and age-group winners, as well as to top fundraisers.
