Event overview
Run for the Planet takes place on April 19, 2026, in Long Beach, California. The event offers multiple race distances along a beach path in the Long Beach area. The course is an out-and-back route on an open beach path where pedestrians and cyclists also use the route; runners are asked to stay on the right side of the path.

Course and on-course support
A water station is located at the Belmont Pier. The finish area includes an aid station with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, runner signs, and flags.
Logistics and results
Parking in the event lot is paid at $2 per hour; street parking is free. Participants should wear their bib on the front of their shirt. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must bring their own bag. First-place medals are awarded to the overall male and female winner in each distance.
