Run For the Kids 2026
Run For the Kids 2026 is a community run and walk held at Rondeau Provincial Park in Morpeth, Ontario on June 14, 2026. The event is organized by the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent and raises funds for local therapy and support services for children and youth.
Routes are fully paved and accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and wagons. Accessible washrooms are available on site and event tents are located on grassy areas. The 5 km distance is timed for participating runners and walkers.
Distances:
- 200 m kids fun race on pavement
- 5 km run walk wheel with timed results
Registration includes free entrance to Rondeau Provincial Park, a race bib, a finisher medal, a 2026 race buff, on course aid stations with water and snacks, and post-run activities including a hot dog BBQ and family-friendly entertainment. Organizers note the park gate and parking may be busy and recommend allowing an extra 15 to 20 minutes for entry and parking.
Funds raised support centre programs such as specialized equipment, mental health services, therapeutic recreation, music therapy, pool programs and other services not funded by government. Donations over CA$20 receive a charitable tax receipt. Awards are given to the top three individual fundraisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
