Run For the Kids 2026
Run For the Kids 2026 takes place on June 14, 2026, at Rondeau Provincial Park in Morpeth, Ontario, Canada. This is the fourth annual event held to raise funds for the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent. Funds raised support local therapy and services such as specialized equipment, mental health services, therapeutic recreation, music therapy and pool programs.
The event includes family-friendly, paved routes designed for accessibility. Two distances are offered:
- 200 m kids fun race, paved and stroller/wheelchair accessible
- 5 km run/walk/wheel, paved and stroller/wheelchair accessible
Registration includes park entrance, a race bib, a 2026 race buff, a finisher medal, on-course aid stations with water and snacks, and musical support on course. A timed result is provided for 5 km participants only. Post-race activities include a hot dog BBQ, additional snacks, music and family-oriented activities. Spectators are welcome but park entrance fees apply for non-registered visitors. Organizers note that park entry and parking may be busy and that attendants will direct vehicles on arrival.
