Run For the Kids 2026 at Rondeau Provincial Park
Run For the Kids 2026 takes place on June 14, 2026 at Rondeau Provincial Park in Morpeth, ON. The event is organized by the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent and combines running, walking and fundraising to support therapy and services for children and youth.
The event offers two paved, accessible routes suitable for strollers, wheelchairs and wagons:
- 200 m Kids Fun Run
- 5 km Run/Walk/Wheel
Registration includes free entrance to Rondeau Provincial Park, a race bib, a 2026 race buff, a finisher medal and on-course snacks and water. 5 km participants receive a timed result. A post-race gathering features a hot dog BBQ, snacks, music and family activities. Only registered participants receive the full race experience; spectators may be subject to park entrance fees.
Funds raised support programs such as specialized equipment, mental health services, therapeutic recreation, music therapy and pool programs that are not government funded. The event encourages participant fundraising and awards the top three individual fundraisers.
