Run for the Dogs - Glenview is a charity 5k run on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Glenview, IL 60025. Course, location and rules
The 5k follows a fast, flat, paved route through Blue Star Memorial Woods Preserve. The start/finish area is at E Lake Avenue, east of Wagner Road, Grove 1, Glenview. Pets are allowed to participate but must be on a short lead and well behaved.
Registration, extras and awards
Registration opens January 21, 2026. The listed price is $25. Registration includes a T-shirt, finisher medal, dog charm, chip-timed race bib, live race results, and finish line treats for humans and dogs. Packet pickup is available on race day.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three in these age groups: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 and over.
