Run for the Cure - 2026
The 8th Annual Run for the Cure is presented by the U CAN-CER VIVE Foundation and takes place on August 23, 2026 at LaFontaine Amphitheatre, 151 North Main Street, Milford, MI 48381. The event raises awareness and funding for cancer research and reflects the organizer's mission to create a cancer-free world.
Distances offered include:
- 5K Run in person
- 1 Mile Fun Run in person
- Virtual 5K
Registration opens January 1, 2026. In-person race registrations close August 10, 2026; the virtual 5K registration remains open through August 23, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the in-person 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, and $45.00 for the Virtual 5K. Participants who register by August 16, 2026 are guaranteed an official race shirt and finisher medal.
