5th Annual Run for the Cherubs 5K & Walk
The Run for the Cherubs is an annual 5K event hosted by the Graham J. Cowan Foundation at Lakefront Park and Marina in Saint Cloud, Florida on February 7, 2026. The event benefits Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies; 100 percent of race proceeds are designated for the hospital to support neonatal research, care, and family support for those experiencing loss.
The event program includes an in person 5K race and a virtual 5K option. The course is USATF certified and the race is professionally chip timed with live online results. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome. Early packet pickup is available at the park the day before the race. Virtual participants may request domestic shipping for race packets, with late registrations potentially unable to receive packets before the event.
Awards and drawings take place after the race. Top three male and female finishers in each age category receive a trophy and an Amazon gift card; cash prizes are listed for first through third places. The foundation describes the event as a place to honor lost infants and to support bereaved families while raising funds for hospital services and research.
