Each event has a registration fee of $35. Registration closes on April 19, 2026. Entrants may register as individuals or form teams to compete for fundraising and race performance honors. Race timing is provided by Accuchip Timing. The event is managed by the Runner's Edge Foundation.
Charity, amenities and awards
This is the first annual Run For Sweet Caroline, held in honor of a person who died from leiomyosarcoma. Organizers state that 100% of funds raised from registration fees and additional donations will support sarcoma awareness, patient education and assistance, and sarcoma research through organizations such as the Sarcoma Alliance, The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the Leiomyosarcoma Support & Direct Research Foundation.
The sunflower is used as the event symbol to reflect sarcoma awareness. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and by five-year age groups.
