Run for Rio 5k

The Run for Rio event features multiple distances and options. The main events include:

Run for Rio 5k (3.1 miles): A walk/run event.
Run for Rio 1k: This event is for participants 10 years old and under.
Run for Rio 5k - Virtual: A virtual option for participants.

The event takes place at Seascape Park in Aptos, California. Proceeds from the event support Rio Del Mar Elementary School, and it is organized by the Rio Del Mar Parent Alliance.

Fleet Feet gift cards and Rio gear are awarded to the top five finishers (male and female) in both the 1k and 5k events. All participants receive a Fleet Feet coupon. Post-race refreshments include Martinelli's apple juice, Pacific Cookie Co cookies, and a finisher's ribbon.
