RUN FOR RIO 5k
RUN FOR RIO 5k is scheduled for March 15, 2026, at Seascape Park in Aptos, California. The event includes an in-person 5k walk/run, a kids 1k limited to children age 10 and under, and a virtual 5k option for remote participants. The event will proceed rain or shine.
A family discount is available for groups of four or five registering for the 5k. Early bird pricing applies through February 28. The race is hosted by the Rio Del Mar Parent Alliance and proceeds are directed to Rio Del Mar Elementary School. UBS Financial Services is listed as the presenting sponsor.
Prizes and participant benefits are specified: Fleet Feet gift cards and Rio gear are awarded to the top five finishers for male and female categories in both the 1k and 5k. All participants receive a Fleet Feet coupon. Finish line items include Martinelli's apple juice, Pacific Cookie Co cookies, and a finishers ribbon.
