About the race
Run for Punjab is a charity 5K and 10K event held at Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island Park in Calgary on October 3, 2026. The event is self-timed and non-competitive; proceeds support SAF International’s flood relief and related work in South Asia, including education, housing, community development, and humanitarian aid. Fundraising shows CA$356.29 raised toward a CA$2,500 goal.
The event is open to participants of all ages. Parents must accompany minors during the run; the organizers do not accept responsibility for monitoring children. Participants are asked to bring their own water bottle and to dress for the weather, as the event will proceed in rain, snow, or sunshine. Parking is available at Confluence Plaza and the course begins at The Rise area as shown on the course map.
Registration includes a minimum CA$15 donation to SAF International plus a CA$5 event fee and applicable processing fees. No refunds are provided. Distances offered: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
