Run for North Caldwell (5K and Color Mile)
The Run for North Caldwell on September 19, 2026 is a community event held at North Caldwell Borough Hall, 141 Gould Ave, North Caldwell, NJ. Net proceeds from each event will be used to improve the borough’s athletic fields and recreational facilities. The event follows current CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines in place at the time.
The program includes two distances:
- 5K : a USATF-sanctioned race with prizes and opportunities to earn Grand Prix points.
- 1 mile Color Run : a one mile run or walk with color packets provided for participants.
Both events are open to runners and walkers of all ages. The published registration fee for each event is $35, and participants may register for both events for an additional $10. Registrations completed by August 31, 2026 include an event shirt: a dri-fit shirt for 5K participants and a 100% cotton Color Run shirt for Color Run participants. Registrations after that date receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis at packet pickup.
Race materials pickup is located in the parking lot next to Borough Hall; this is where bibs, color packets, and shirts are distributed. Participants registering for both events receive their items together in one packet. Separate awards will be presented for students at Grandview and Gould Elementary and for middle school and high school participants; student 5K participants should indicate school status when registering.
