Run for Nature - Troy Farm
Run for Nature takes place on June 7, 2026, at Troy Farm located at South Blvd and Beach Road in Troy, Michigan. The event benefits the Stage Nature Center and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk: timed for runners on a nature trail and sidewalk course
- 2K Walk: nature trail through meadows and wooded areas
- 400 yards Little Sprout Sprint: for ages 10 and under, out-and-back from the start/finish
- Virtual Participant: support the Stage Nature Center and complete activities April 1 to August 31
The 5K run begins on the Troy Farm nature trail, continues along a sidewalk route to the nature center, and returns to the start/finish at Troy Farm; 5K walkers follow the same route after the runners. The 2K walk uses the Troy Farm nature trail and winds through meadows and wooded trails. The Little Sprout Sprint is a short children’s race; parents may assist their children on course. Registered sprouts receive a participant medal and the first 50 preregistered sprouts receive a nature cape.
Registration fees and deadlines vary by category. Preregistration by May 15 is requested to guarantee a t-shirt. Race packets can be picked up at the Stage Nature Center prior to the event. Organizers may convert the event to virtual if required; registrations will be transferred and no refunds will be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
