Run For Love 5K and 1 Mile - Tifton
The Run For Love 5K and 1 Mile event in Tifton is in its 37th year and is hosted by the Tift County Cross Country Teams. It takes place on August 8, 2026 at ABAC's Red Hill Athletic Complex, Perimeter Drive, Tifton, GA 31794.
Event distances include:
- 5K Run or Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run or Walk
- Both 5K and 1 Mile entry
Registration opens May 1, 2026. Registration close dates differ by entry: the 5K registration closes July 26, the combined 5K and 1 Mile entry closes July 27, and the 1 Mile registration closes August 5. Listed registration fees are $30 for the 5K, $20 for the 1 Mile, and $40 for the combined entry. A July 25 deadline is noted for T-shirt availability.
Proceeds support the Tift County Cross Country team. Funds help provide team dinners, custom shirts, race prizes, gear, letterman jackets, and special gifts for seniors and 8th grade athletes.
Award categories are specified for each distance. The 5K has overall male, female, and masters winners plus top three males and females per five-year age group.
