Run for Justice 5K
The Run for Justice 5K - Saint Clairsville is a competitive event taking place in Ohio. The proceeds from the race are used to support local legal and governmental educational programs. The event features two primary categories:
- 5k Run (3.1 miles)
- 5k Walk (3.1 miles)
The course is designed as a point-to-point route starting at the Belmont County Divisional Court Complex and following a relatively flat path along National Road/State Route 40. The race concludes in downtown Saint Clairsville at the Main Belmont County Court House. Water stations and timing clocks are positioned along the route to support participants.
Registered participants receive a race packet that includes a bib and a tri-blend T-shirt. Finish line food and beverages are provided to all entrants. Because the start and finish lines are in different locations, shuttle services operate between the Divisional Court Complex and the downtown area both before and after the event.
The race utilizes an electronic timing system, with results available via text, email, or on-site kiosks. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the leaders in several age categories spanning from under 12 to over 60. Competitive teams of 4 to 10 members can also participate for specific team-based awards in both the running and walking categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
