Run for Justice 5K
The Run for Justice 5K is a timed competitive athletic event taking place in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. The event features two primary categories for participants:
- 5k Run (3.1 Miles)
- 5k Walk (3.1 Miles)
The race follows a point-to-point course that is described as relatively flat. Participants begin at the Belmont County Divisional Court Complex on National Road and travel along State Route 40. The route concludes in downtown Saint Clairsville at the Main Belmont County Court House on West Main Street. Water stations and timing clocks are positioned along the course to assist participants during the activity.
This event serves as a fundraiser where proceeds benefit local legal and governmental educational programs. Because the start and finish lines are in different locations, shuttle services are provided to transport participants between the Divisional Court Complex and the downtown area before and after the race.
Registered participants receive a race packet containing a bib and a premium tri-blend t-shirt, though t-shirt availability is only guaranteed for those who register by April 18th. Food and beverages are provided at the finish line. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top finishers in various age groups ranging from 12 and under to 60 and over. Competitive team awards are also available for groups of 4 to 10 members in both the running and walking categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
