Event Overview
The Run for Justice is a seasonal athletic event taking place at the Edgewater Park Upper Pavilion in Cleveland. Registration and Packet Pick-up
Registration fees are set at $35 for those who register early, with a price increase occurring in October. Participants who register by October 10 receive a long-sleeve event shirt, while those who register later receive shirts based on availability. There is an early packet pick-up hosted on October 30 at the Cleveland Metropolitan Conference Center. On the morning of the event, registration and packet pick-up are also available on-site, followed by a facilitated warm-up session.
Activities and Recognition
The event features a festive atmosphere with several post-race activities including food trucks, face painting, crafts, and family-friendly games. Awards are presented for the top overall male, female, and non-binary runners in the 5 Mile and 5K categories. Specific age-based awards are granted across brackets ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over. Specialty awards are also recognized for participants in the legal profession and for top-performing teams. Additionally, costumed participants can compete for prizes in youth, adult, group, and dog categories. Proceeds support community programs focused on youth empowerment and justice access.
