Run For Hope - Bonita Lakes Park
Run For Hope is an annual race event held at Bonita Lakes Park in Meridian, MS. The event offers multiple distances and all races are chip timed by Time 2 Run Race Timing.

The 10K follows the Bonita Lakes Jeep Trail around the upper lake through shaded woods and offers views of the lakes. The 5K starts and finishes at the boat landing and tours the front part of the park and the lower lake walking track. The 2 Mile Walk is an out-and-back route to the front of the park. The Fun Run crosses the dam and returns on a straight, mostly level course just under a mile for children.
Bibs will be distributed only on race day to attending participants. Race day registration closes at 7:40am and packets should be picked up before 7:45am. Early packet pickup is not available.
Awards are given across multiple categories. The 10K and 5K both present overall, masters, and grand masters awards plus top three finishers in multiple age groups. The 2 Mile Walk honors the top five men and top five women. All children in the Fun Run receive a special award as they cross the finish line, with overall top male and female also recognized.
Parking is at the upper lake and near the boat landing. Participants must arrive prior to 7:30am to cross the dam and may not leave the area until race staff deems it safe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
