Run for Hope 5K - Calhoun, GA
Run for Hope 5K is an inaugural fundraising 5K event taking place on May 16, 2026 at the Calhoun Recreation Center, 601 S River St, Calhoun, GA 30701. The event is organized by Mountain Top Boys Home and supports that organization's programs.
Mountain Top Boys Home is a group home and foster care agency located on more than 350 acres in North Georgia near the Chattahoochee National Forest. The organization states its mission is to provide hope and healing to children and families in crisis. Daily life at Mountain Top is described as organized family style living, guided by professional staff. The organization reports more than 100 graduates and over 40 years of experience.

The 5K will use a certified course (certificate #GA25056WC). Awards are planned for overall male and female and masters male and female, plus top three male and female in standard age groups from 0-9 through 70+. Registration terms note that refunds are not available unless a participant enrolled in the Refund Protection Program, that Race Management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and that registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
