About the race
Run for Honor is a community timed 5K held on September 27, 2026, in Lincoln Park, Springfield, Illinois. The event takes place near 1605 N 5th St, Springfield 62702.

All proceeds benefit the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight to help local veterans travel to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials. Registration opens February 23, 2026, and closes September 26, 2026; the registration fee is $30. On-site packet pick-up is available before the event.
Participants can expect pre- and post-race snacks, drinks, and prizes. Main parking is available at the Nelson Center, and restrooms are provided at the staging area and inside the Nelson Center.
