Event Overview
The Run for Freedom takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It is held in-person in San Dimas, California, at 120 E Via Verde Dr, which is within Bonelli Regional Park.
Distances
The event includes three options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Virtual Race
Both the 5K and 10K in-person events start together. Registration for these events includes a race bib, an event shirt, and a finisher's medal.
Course Details
The 5K course follows a lakeside road in Bonelli Regional Park. It offers views of Puddingstone Lake and surrounding rolling hills. The route is described as having flat stretches with some gentle inclines.
The 10K course starts on the same lakeside road as the 5K before branching off onto park trails. It features a mix of paved paths and natural terrain with rolling hills. Both courses highlight lake views and mountain backdrops.
Event Day and Purpose
A tentative schedule for the day includes a warm-up, a speaker program before the run/walk, and a post-race speaker program. There will also be a Vendor Expo with entertainment.
