RUN FOR FREEDOM
Run for Freedom is a community run/walk taking place at Frank G. Bonelli Park in San Dimas, California. The event offers on-site and virtual participation and raises funds in support of organizations fighting human trafficking and exploitation.
On-site programming on race day includes vendor set-up, registration and packet pick up, a group warm up, speaker presentations before and after the run, the run/walk itself, and a vendor expo with entertainment. The event schedule is tentative.
Course details:
- 5K lakeside route with a mix of flat stretches and a few gentle inclines
- 10K starts on the lakeside road then extends onto park trails and rolling hills
- Virtual 5K or 10K completed at a location chosen by the participant
Both on-site courses feature views of Puddingstone Lake, mountain backdrops, shaded sections, and a combination of paved paths and natural terrain. The virtual option allows participants to complete a 5K or 10K from any location, alone or with a group, and supports the same charitable purpose.
