Run for Chief
The Run for Chief is an annual event held at Sawyer Point Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The gathering honors the memory of Jaden Woodard and supports the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Heart Institute. Proceeds from the event are directed toward Jaden's Fund to assist families of children undergoing heart transplants, helping to cover costs associated with medical treatment and family support.

The event takes place near the Procter & Gamble Pavilion. Participants who plan to walk during the event are asked to position themselves at the back of the group at the start line. Following the races, the event features a gathering with a live DJ, food, and beverages.
Parking is available at the Sawyer Point Parking Lot for a fee of 5 dollars. Additional parking options include spaces along Riverside Drive near the Montgomery Inn Boathouse and spots located next to Friendship Park. Registration fees for the events increase after March 31, 2026. Prior to the start of the athletic events, a presentation is held to discuss the impact of the funds raised for the Heart Institute over the previous year.
