Run for a Dream 5K and 1M Fun Run : 4th Annual
The 4th Annual Run for a Dream is a community running and fundraising event held on December 5, 2026 at One Royal Drive in Cochran, GA (at the track). The event uses the Bleckley County 5K cross-country trails and includes family-focused activities on the game field after the races.

An in-person race program is complemented by a virtual runner option; virtual registrations include a shirt that can be mailed after the event. Runner perks for in-person participants include a T-shirt, a canvas bag from the memorial fund, sponsor gifts, drinks and snacks. Post-race family activities listed by the organizer include inflatable bouncers, a coloring activity for children, cornhole and other games, face painting, and photos with Santa.
Registration opens July 31, 2026 and online registration closes December 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Standard registration fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for regular entries and $20.00 for child entries for those 10 and under; day-of registration increases to $35.00. Registrations completed by November 17 are guaranteed a shirt at the event; later registrations may have shirts mailed after the event.
No pets and no strollers are allowed on the course; appropriate footwear is recommended for the cross-country surface. Proceeds support two programs benefiting the health and well-being of children and young people. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
