About the race
Run Dorney Lake takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Dorney Lake, near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire. The venue is a purpose-built rowing lake that was used for the London 2012 Olympic rowing events, and the route is a road course set around the lake.
- Half Marathon: Road, 4 laps plus U-turn each lap, elevation 27 m.
- 10k: Road, 2 laps, elevation 15 m.
- 5k: Road, 1 lap, elevation 8 m.
The event uses chip timed results. Each kilometre on the course is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned to guide and support participants. Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos and post race goodies.
An event village offers food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish area. A discounted event t-shirt is available when purchased as part of the entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit as an optional purchase to help manage event costs.
This is a partner event organised by RunThrough. RunThrough memberships can be used for entry but once the event sells out no additional places will be available, including for members.
