Run Beyond the Sunset 2026, Marsana Beach, Hudayriyat Island
Run Beyond the Sunset 2026 takes place on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Marsana Beach on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi. This event is the fourth edition in the Beyond the Sunset Series.
The event offers two distances:
- 5 km - competitive race with age group prize money for top three.
- 3 km - recreational walk or run suitable for families and groups.
Entry items listed by the organiser include exclusive event socks subject to availability and a finishers' medal for all participants. Prize money is allocated to the 5 km only and is awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are split by female and male and are based on the participant's age on the event date.
Prize money first-place amounts are 300 AED for the younger categories and 500 AED for several older categories; second and third place amounts are specified per age group. The Beyond the Sunset Series continues with Swim Beyond the Sunset on 10 May, Ride Beyond the Sunset on 16 May, and Skate Beyond the Sunset on 17 May.
Registrants may request a refund or a category change up to seven days before the event date, subject to a 30 AED fee; no refund or category change is permitted within seven days of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
