Event overview
The Make A Wish Run 2026 takes place on 11 January 2026 at Al Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The event is presented by ADFD and supported by Modon and Al Ain Water. It is the eighth edition of the Make-A-Wish Run and proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, which grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. The event is held at the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club / Hudayriyat Cycle Track and is under patronage.
Race details and registration
Participants can choose from three distances:
- 10 km - two laps of a 5 km loop
- 5 km - one lap of a 5 km loop
- 3 km - one lap of a 3 km loop
All registered participants receive a Make-A-Wish t-shirt (subject to availability and sizes) and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Podium presentations will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in age groups. Entry fees vary by category; published fee levels include AED 140 and AED 110. Refunds or category changes are permitted up to seven days before the event for a fee of 30 dirhams; no refunds or changes are allowed within seven days of the event or when the event is closed.
