3rd Annual Berea Trail Runner 5k
The event is a 5K trail race held at Silver Creek Bike Park near JC Chambers Lane in Berea, Kentucky on 10/24/2026. The course runs on mountain bike trails and passes the start/finish area twice during the run. The organizer states there is no cut time and runners of all paces are welcome.
On-site amenities include a porta potty and a municipal water fill station at the finish area, and post-race snacks such as fresh fruit, candy, and chips. The event is a cupless low waste format; water will be available for refilling personal bottles. A dedicated race photographer will take photos on the trails and at the finish.
Registration opens 8/10/2026 and closes 10/23/2026. The stated registration fee is $10.00. The event policy notes there are no refunds.
Weather and course policy is outlined: significant rains will close the trails because of trail maintenance needs. If trails are muddy the race may be relocated to the Boones Trace trail parking lot at the base of Boone Street. In the case of storms the start may be delayed or the event canceled. If the race is canceled, shirts will be available for pick-up in Berea. Announcements about postponement or relocation will be sent via registration emails.
