Run Baby Run 2026 - Oxford, AL
Run Baby Run 2026 is the 13th annual 5k hosted by RMC OB Services at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama (954 Leon Smith Parkway). The organizer describes a well-marked course with minimal turns and no traffic, and the route is stroller friendly.
Registration opens on May 24 and closes on July 1. The registration fee is $20. Onsite registration will be available on the day of the event. To guarantee a race t-shirt, registration should be completed by August 1. Packet pickup takes place on August 20 inside the lobby of the Regional Medical Center Women’s and Children’s Pavilion; registration is also available at packet pickup.
Awards are planned for the 5k: medals for the top three males and top three females overall; medals for the top three in stroller or wagon categories (Mom and Dad), top three for baby wearing, and top three for pregnant mom; and medals for the top three males and top three females in each age group: 9 and under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60.
Regional Medical Center’s Women’s and Children’s Pavilion is noted as Alabama’s first designated Baby-Friendly hospital, and the event is presented in connection with RMC’s maternity and lactation services.
