Run and Raft Adventure Day
The event takes place in Lotus, California, with date options on May 24, 2026 and July 25, 2026; participants may choose one date or both. It combines a supported group trail run on the South Fork American River Trail with a full-day guided whitewater raft trip on the same river.
The trail portion is non-competitive and informal. The primary route is a point-to-point run between Salmon Falls Bridge / Skunk Hollow Parking Lot and Magnolia Ranch Trailhead. Aid station support is provided near mile 7. A shorter trail option is available.
The rafting portion is a full-day trip on the South Fork American River. Professional guide services and equipment are provided by River Runners Outfitters. Group transportation moves runners from the trail finish to the raft put-in, and the river trip returns participants to the original parking area.
Included items and services are a snapback trucker hat, aid station supplies including Hammer Nutrition products, group transportation between run and raft, professional whitewater guides and equipment, and lunch on the river. The organizer is All we do is run. Participants are instructed to park personal vehicles at Skunk Hollow Parking Lot where the event begins and ends.
