Run Aintree - event overview
Run Aintree takes place on 19 December 2027 at Aintree Racecourse, Aintree International Equestrian Centre, Ormskirk Road, Liverpool. The event includes three road race distances held on a flat course set within the racecourse grounds.

- 5K
The course details provided for each distance list elevation and lap format: the half marathon has an elevation of 76 m and an out-and-back plus four laps arrangement; the 10K has an elevation of 38 m and two laps; the 5K has an elevation of 19 m and one lap. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned along the course to guide and support participants.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. An event village offers food and drink options and partner-provided free items at the finish.
