About the race
Run Aintree takes place at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool on 31 October 2027. The event includes three road race distances set within the racecourse grounds.

The courses are road surfaces and described as flat. Course specifics given by the organiser: the half marathon has an elevation gain of 76 m and uses an out and back plus four laps format; the 10k has 38 m elevation and two laps; the 5k has 19 m elevation and one lap. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. An event village provides food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish. The organiser notes ongoing work on sustainability and a discounted event t shirt is available when purchased with an entry through the event partner RT Kit.
