About the race
Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10k & 5k takes place on 11 July 2027 at Aintree Racecourse, Aintree International Equestrian Centre, Ormskirk Road, Aintree, Liverpool. The organiser is RunThrough.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is on road and set within Aintree Racecourse. It is described as flat and smooth. Distance-specific course details include elevation and lap information: the half marathon has an elevation of 76 m and uses an out-and-back plus four laps format; the 10K has an elevation of 38 m and two laps; the 5K has an elevation of 19 m and one lap. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals provide guidance around the course.
Entry includes a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. An event village offers food and drink options and finish-line freebies from partners. An event t-shirt featuring the race logo is available at a reduced price when purchased as part of entry through the organiser’s kit partner. The organiser reports work on sustainability based on research into runner priorities.
