Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
Run Aintree takes place on 11 July 2027 at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. The event is set within the home of the Grand National and uses road surfaces on a generally flat, smooth course.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon - elevation 76 m; out and back plus 4 laps; road, flat
- 10K - elevation 38 m; 2 laps; road, flat
- 5K - elevation 19 m; 1 lap; road, flat
Entries include chip-timed results, a unique themed medal, free race photos and post race goodies. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and cheer participants. An event village provides food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish.
The organiser states it has researched runner priorities and that sustainability is a growing focus for its events. An event t-shirt is available at a reduced price when purchased with entry; the organiser works with RT Kit on this provision.
