About the race
Run Aintree takes place on Sunday 11 July 2027 at Aintree Racecourse, Ormskirk Road, Liverpool L9 5AS. The event offers multiple measured race distances and on-course support.

The course is primarily on tarmac with a short section on a trail path through the centre of the racecourse. The route is described as flat and road based. Results are chip timed and the event provides a themed medal, post race goodies, free finish-line photos and a secure bag drop.
Race day features an event village with food and drink and toilet facilities located in the racecourse grandstands that are passed during each lap. Water is provided approximately every 5 km on the Half Marathon and 10K; the 5K does not pass a water station on course. Race packs are collected from the event village on the day and runners should bring their booking confirmation and photo ID to collect.
There is limited free parking on site. The nearest station is Aintree Station, directly opposite the racecourse; bus services also serve the venue. Minimum ages are 17 years for the Half Marathon, 15 years for the 10K and 11 years for the 5K. Wheelchair athletes and buggy runners are welcome but should be aware of some narrow sections. If a competitor expects to take more than three hours for the Half Marathon the organiser requests contact to discuss arrangements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
