The event offers timed solo and relay options and has a 36-hour cutoff. Total ascent is about 3,842 ft and total descent about 4,455 ft.
Course and logistics
The course passes through 25 towns and mixes trail and road surfaces. Nearly half the course - about 57 miles - follows well-maintained trails with forest scenery and occasional stream crossings. The remainder follows backroads and local highways.
Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and provide drinks, electrolytes, and light snacks. Medical staff are available for common ultramarathon issues. There are no shuttle services this year; participants should arrange their own transport to the start or use parking at nearby park-and-rides. Travel options include lodging near Thompson and Greenwich.
