Support, cutoffs, and logistics
Aid stations staffed by volunteers provide hydrating drinks, electrolyte replenishment, and light snacks. Medical staff are present for common ultramarathon issues. There are five intermediate cutoffs plus a final cutoff at the finish; the intermediate cutoff locations and mileages are: Aid Station 3 (The Chronicle) : 32.5 miles; Aid Station 5 (Eaton Lot) : 55.8 miles; Aid Station 6 (The Rec Plex) : 63.8 miles; Aid Station 7 (Morgan Materials Lot) : 75.9 miles; Aid Station 10 (Sandy Point) : 100.07 miles. Crew access is available at those aid stations. Runners are expected to maintain about a 17.5 min/mi pace (3.5 mph) to remain ahead of cutoffs.
Practical notes: the event is no-refund, rollovers are allowed upon request, field size is limited, and there are no shuttle services. Participants should prepare for variable spring weather and arrange their own transport or crew support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
