Run Across CT 123
The Run Across CT 123 is a point to point 123 mile ultramarathon that starts in East Thompson and finishes at the Wakeman Boys and Girls Club in Southport. The route crosses 25 towns and covers a mix of trails and roads.

- Solo 200k
- 200k relay, 6-person teams
- 200k relay, 3-person teams
- Solo 100k
Nearly half the course, about 57 miles, runs on well-maintained trails. The remainder follows scenic backroads, bike paths, and local highways. Total elevation change is low to moderate with about 4,000 ft of ascent and about 4,500 ft of descent.
Aid stations are placed along the route and are staffed by volunteers. Stations provide hydration, electrolytes, and light snacks. Crew access is limited to aid stations except for medical emergencies. There are five intermediate cutoffs plus a finish cutoff; the overall field cutoff is 36 hours and the target pace to stay ahead of cutoffs is about 17.5 minutes per mile (3.5 mph).
Finishers of the 200k receive a belt buckle; finishers of the 100k and relay options receive a medal. All finishers receive a CT123 t-shirt and additional event swag.
Registration opens October 9, 2026. Field size is limited. Lodging options are available near the start in Putnam. Shuttle plans are listed as TBD.
