Run 4 Your Cause 2026
Run 4 Your Cause, presented by the Manitoba Runners' Association (MRA), takes place on June 14, 2026 at Marpeck Commons, Canadian Mennonite University, 2299 Grant Ave, Winnipeg. The event is a fundraiser where participants support a partnering organization of their choice; a CA$25 donation is given directly to the chosen organization.
Distances offered include:
- 3.3K Try Run/Walk : part of the route goes through the Assiniboine Forest, strollers permitted.
- Awesome Twosome 5K : teams of two; each partner runs 5K in opposite directions.
For the Awesome Twosome, teams select a team name; MRA will pair solo registrants with another participant. Individual times are recorded for both formats.
Packet pickup is available on June 12 and June 13 at Big Sky Run Co., and on race morning at Marpeck Commons, CMU. Finishers may select from several hand-crafted art medals, receive the new 2026 medal, or opt out of a medal and donate CA$10 of their entry fee to their Cause or to MRA.
Recognition and categories: Awesome Twosome age groups are determined by combined ages and awards are based on combined time. For the 3.3K, individual times are recorded and the top three finishers overall are recognized for men, women and non-binary. Fundraising partners listed include Manitoba Runners' Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Tails of Freedom Rescue and Variety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
