Run 4 Ukraine 5K
Run 4 Ukraine is an event on August 22, 2026, held at the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton, PA. The program includes a 5K running race and a 1 mile walk. The walk will not be timed.
Registration is available in advance and also on the day of the event; pre-registered fees are listed separately from day-of fees. Dri-fit race shirts are available with pre-registration through July 31, 2026, and a limited number of shirts will be available on the day of the event. All participants receive finisher medals.
Awards include trophies for overall male and female finishers and overall male and female masters (40+) finishers. Trophies are also awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-99.
The event is presented by the Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania non-profit corporation formed in March 2022 to raise awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees.
