Run 4 Ukraine 5K
Run 4 Ukraine takes place on August 22, 2026 on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The event is presented by Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania non-profit corporation formed to raise awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees. Registration opens February 8, 2026 and closes August 16, 2026. Fees listed in the event information differentiate pre-registered and day-of rates: pre-registered run $20 and walk $10; day-of run $25 and walk $15. Dri-fit race shirts are available with pre-registration through July 31, 2026, and a limited number of shirts will be available on the day of the event.
All runners and walkers receive finisher medals. Trophies are awarded to overall female and male finishers, overall female and male masters (40+) finishers, and to the top three female and male finishers in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-99.
