Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K : event summary
The Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K is a community running and walking event held on Olive Street along the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail in Scranton, PA 18508. The event includes a timed run and a non-timed walk and raises funds for Ukraine TrustChain.
Registration opens February 8, 2026 and closes August 19, 2026. Fee tiers listed by the organizer include pre-registered and day-of prices for both run and walk. Dri-fit race shirts are available with pre-registration through July 31, 2026; a limited number of shirts will be available on race day for an additional fee.

Awards and recognition are provided for participants. All runners and walkers receive finisher medals. Trophies are awarded to overall male and female winners, overall male and female masters (age 40+), and to the top three male and female finishers in the listed age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-99.
The event is presented by the Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania nonprofit formed in March 2022 to raise awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees.
