5th Annual Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K
The event takes place on August 22, 2026 at the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton, PA 18508. It includes a timed 5K run and a 1 mile walk; the walk will not be timed.

Registration opens February 8, 2026 and closes August 16, 2026. Pre-registered fees are $20 for the run and $10 for the walk. Day of entry fees are $25 for the run and $15 for the walk. Dri-fit race shirts are available with pre-registration through July 31, 2026, and a limited number of shirts will be available on the day of the event.
All participants, runners and walkers, will receive finisher medals. Trophies will be awarded to overall female and male runners, overall female and male masters (40 and over), and to the top three female and male finishers in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-99.
The beneficiary is Ukraine TrustChain. The event is presented by Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania nonprofit formed in March 2022 to raise awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees.
