5th Annual Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K
The 5th Annual Scranton 4 Ukraine 5K takes place on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at Olive Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This event is organized by the Scranton 4 Ukraine Association, a non-profit corporation established to raise awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees.
Participants can choose between two primary events:
- 5 km run
- 1 mile walk
Dri-fit race shirts are provided for those who register before July 31, 2026, with a limited quantity available for participants who register on the day of the event. Packet pick-up and registration take place on-site on the morning of the event. Awards will be distributed across various age groups.
The course utilizes the Heritage Trail, providing a dedicated pathway for both runners and walkers. Registration fees vary depending on whether participants sign up in advance or on the day of the race.
