Run 4 Their Lives Lynchburg 5k Run/Walk
Run 4 Their Lives Lynchburg is a two-day event held April 17 and April 18, 2026, at the Liberty University Indoor Track and Natatorium in Lynchburg, VA. It is organized as a Freedom 4/24 event to raise awareness and funds to prevent and end human trafficking locally and globally. Funds from the event support prevention education and restoration work connected to Freedom 4/24.
The event program includes multiple options:
- 5k race
- Virtual 5k
- Kids one mile fun run (ages 1 to 12)
The race is listed as event number six in the 2026 Lynchburg Road Runners Spring Race Series; there is no additional fee to participate in the series and nonmembers may place in the series. A Lynchburg Road Runners Club member discount is available during a specified discount period.
A partner event, the Thrive LYH Health and Wellness Expo, takes place in April alongside the race and offers community health and wellness resources, vendors, and educational exhibits. Awards are planned for top overall finishers and for top finishers in each age group.
