Rumba on the Lumber Festival : overview

Rumba on the Lumber is a two-day community festival in Lumberton, NC, scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2026. The event is presented by the Robeson Road Runners, the City of Lumberton, and Main Street Lumberton. The festival is organized by volunteers and is supported by sponsors and partner organizations.

• a Friday food truck event with live music and multiple food vendors
• live music and stage entertainment throughout Saturday
• a chili cook-off that supports the Robeson Community College Foundation
• craft and food vendors on Saturday at Dick Taylor Plaza
• a KidsZone with a Dino Bounce House, an Iron Man Obstacle Course, a Monster Truck Slide, a Toy Block Bonanza Bounce House, a Soccer Challenge, a Frisbee Challenge, and a Rock Climbing Wall
• a beer garden located at The Alley of 219 Elm, open on both festival days
