Rumali Trail Run
Rumali Trail Run is event number three in the Montagu Winter Trail Running Series, held at Rumali Guest Farm in the Keisie Valley near Montagu in the Western Cape. The guest farm is situated about 20 km outside of Montagu and the trails offer views across the Keisie Valley.

The 5.6 km fun run shares the first 3.8 km with the 9.5 km route and follows a mix of jeep track and flowing single track before continuing on farm roads. This shorter route avoids the steep mountain climb and passes through olive groves and vineyards with gentle hills.
The 9.5 km route concentrates most elevation in the first 6 km and includes a steep climb after a sharp right turn at 3.8 km, gaining over 200 m in under 2 km. The route features technical trail sections, rocky stretches and fast single track through rugged mountain terrain, then a final 2 km descent to open farm roads.
The series offers a multi-event option across six venues, with a R 300 discount for completing all events, a running cap valued at R 150 for full-series entrants, and six medals that combine into a commemorative memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
