Rugged Toad Adventure Triathlon
The Rugged Toad Adventure Triathlon is scheduled for 08/29/2026 and centers on Ingawanis Adventure Base and Ingawanis Woodland in the Cedar Valley area. The event combines river paddle, trail running and mountain biking on natural terrain. It serves as a fundraiser for Ingawanis Adventure Base and Ingawanis Woodland.
The course includes these segments:
- 5 mile paddle down the Cedar River from Brookwood Park in Waverly to Ingawanis Adventure Base
- 3 mile trail run starting at Ingawanis Adventure Base with a creek crossing to Ingawanis Woodland
- 7 mile mountain bike at Ingawanis Woodland
Registering carries a fee of $60.00. Registration opens 05/01/2026 and closes 08/02/2026. A free race t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by 08/15/2026. A limited number of kayaks are available to rent from Crawdaddy Outdoors for $30. Friday night camping at Ingawanis Woodland is offered for a freewill donation.
Post-race activities take place at the Eagle Lodge finish area in Ingawanis Woodland and include awards, a free lunch, live music, massages provided by Athletico, and cider samples from Paha Cider Co. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
