Rudy's Runners 5K Run or Walk
The seventh annual Rudy's Runners 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Holgate, Ohio. This memorial event honors Rudy Casillas, a local marathoner and active member of the running community. The race takes place on the same morning as the Eye to the Skies festival.
Participants can choose from several event options:

- VIRTUAL Rudy's Runners 5K
The course leads runners through the streets of Holgate, with both the start and finish lines located at the Holgate High School track. Proceeds from the event support the Rudy's Runner Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to Holgate High School seniors who have participated in cross country or track programs.
Cash prizes are available for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K event. The first-place prize is $300, second place is $150, and third place is $75. Registration is available online until June 25, and race day registration is also permitted. Participants who register by June 20 are guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt.
