Rudy's Runners 5K Run or Walk
The Seventh Annual Rudy's Runners event is set for June 27, 2026 in Holgate, Ohio, at 801 Joe E Brown Stadium with the start and finish located at the track at Holgate High School. The race was established by the family as a memorial 5K and funds raised this year will go to a memorial scholarship for Holgate High School seniors who ran cross country or track.
The event offers several participation options:
- 3.1 Miles Rudy's Runners 5K in person
- 3.1 Miles Virtual Rudy's Runners 5K
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, four laps, not timed
- Shirt only option, shirt purchase without racing
Registration fees are listed per option: in-person 5K $25, virtual 5K $25, kids fun run $15, shirt only $15. Registration opens February 17. Race day registration is allowed, but shirts are not guaranteed after June 20. Packet pickup will be available on race day.
The main 5K course runs through the streets of Holgate. Cash prizes are offered for the top three female and top three male finishers: 1st place $300, 2nd place $150, and 3rd place $75. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
