Ruck 'N' Run® : 12th Annual
Ruck 'N' Run® is the 12th annual boot-camp-inspired walk/run and veterans appreciation event held Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Meadowview Baptist Church grounds in Republic, Missouri. The event is organized by a 501(c)(3) veterans nonprofit and focuses on honoring service, building camaraderie, and connecting the community.
Distances available include:
- 5.56K®
- 7.62K
- 11.11K
- 30K Norwegian Foot March
- FREE 0.9 Mile
Routes feature exercise stations placed along the course. Typical station exercises include push ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, body weight squats, and burpees. The 11.11K repeats the 5.56K station sequence. The 30K Norwegian Foot March is a certified ruck march conducted with a minimum rucksack weight of 11 kg (24 lbs); it is ruck only and has no exercise stations. Water and aid stations are provided at points along the routes and the public roadways are not closed.
Participants choose Rucker or Runner status. Ruckers carry a rucksack or weighted vest; runners do not carry weight. Registration types include Participant or Competitor, solo or team. Competitors are required to complete 25 reps at each station and Rucker weights are verified at a weigh station (45 lbs for men, 35 lbs for women). All paid registrants receive an event shirt, packet, and a finisher medal. The event also includes family-friendly activities such as axe throwing, a car show, food, giveaways, and an optional camp out. A portion of registration fees and donated canned goods support local veteran assistance programs and a military kids scholarship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
