Rubey Rescue Run
The Rubey Rescue Run is a Halloween themed trail event held on October 4 in Aspen, Colorado, at Koch Park, 199 W. Cooper Avenue. The course follows the Marolt foot path and nearby open space and is presented as a 3.1 mile trail route with about 1,700 feet of elevation gain.
The event is a timed run or walk and allows participants to bring dogs. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers. There are additional prizes for best pet costumes and raffle prizes on site. Food trucks will be available.
Aid stations that serve both dogs and humans are located at mile 1, mile 2.2, and at the Cliff House. Organizers provide dog bowls at the aid stations; participants are asked to bring their own water bottle. Entry packages include a Rubey Rescue Run insulated water bottle and sponsor items.
