Event Overview
The RPEF Sprint for Our Schools 5K & Family Fun Run is an annual community event organized by the Ramsey Public Education Foundation (RPEF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The event takes place on the second Saturday in May, starting and finishing at the Ramsey Municipal Pool on 75 E Oak St in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Participants can choose between two USATF-sanctioned routes:
- A 5K race.
- A 1-mile Family Fun Run.
Registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $30 for the Fun Run. The event has raised over $25,000 for Ramsey schools in the past, with funds supporting technology, arts, and science programs.
Awards and Atmosphere
Cash prizes are awarded to the overall top three runners. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals. Age groups range from 10 and under to 60 and over. The event is described as a local tradition where hundreds gather. A DJ provides music, and sponsors are in attendance.
Practical Information
