Royal Windsor Triathlon Presented by Sigma Sports
The Royal Windsor Triathlon takes place on 14 June 2026 in Alexandra Gardens, Windsor. The event marks its 35th anniversary and supports Macmillan Cancer Support. RunThrough is listed as the official event delivery partner.
The event offers multiple race formats and distances:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Standard Triathlon: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
Relay races are available and are open only to teams of three participants.
The course begins with an open water swim in the River Thames, includes a road cycle through Windsor that passes Windsor Castle and enters surrounding countryside, and finishes with a run into Windsor Great Park along the Long Walk. Bike and run terrain are on road surfaces; elevation is provided for both disciplines on standard and sprint courses.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, and chip-timed results. Each kilometre on the run course is marked with distance flags and marshals are present to guide participants. A race village offers food and drink provisions and event partners provide finish-line items. An event t-shirt is offered as an optional purchase through the organiser’s kit partner.
