Royal Windsor Triathlon, 13 June 2027
The Royal Windsor Triathlon takes place at Alexandra Gardens in Windsor and is delivered by RunThrough as the official event partner. The event supports Macmillan Cancer Support and includes chip-timed results, free race photos, a unique themed medal, post-race goodies, and a secure bag drop.
The swim is in the River Thames and starts downstream before turning for an upstream section. The bike stage is on open roads that pass Windsor Castle and continue into the surrounding countryside; the Standard route includes the top loop twice with signed decision points. The run takes place in Windsor Great Park along the Long Walk.
Relay entries are available for teams of three. Minimum ages are 15 years for the Sprint distance and 17 years for the Standard distance. Course signage and marshals guide participants; there are water stations on the run route and toilets in the event village.
Spectators can use the event village at Alexandra Gardens to view the swim start and the finish, and the Long Walk offers multiple spectator points for the run laps. Parking is available at nearby long-stay car parks and at Windsor Boys’ School cricket pitches.
