The 2026 Royal Victoria Marathon takes place in Victoria and Oak Bay, British Columbia, from October 9 to October 11, 2026. The event includes multiple race distances and a kids run. The marathon course passes through quiet streets and offers ocean views along parts of the route. The race is a Boston qualifier, an Abbott World Majors ranking event, and a World Athletics World Ranking Competition.

Logistics and rules
The marathon and half marathon start and finish in downtown Victoria. The Kids Run and 5K start and finish at Willows Park in Oak Bay. The marathon has a course time limit of 6.5 hours. Marathoners must meet a checkpoint requirement at 13K to continue on the full marathon route; those who do not may move to the half marathon or withdraw. Events will be capped for 2026. There will be no strollers or pets allowed on course. Nordic poles are permitted only for mobility-impaired participants.
Registration options include a GREEN BIB choice, where participants receive a bib and medal but no garment; a charity selection is available with that option.
