Rowan Boland 5k
The Rowan Boland 5k is scheduled for 14 June 2026 at Gala Cricket Club, Meigle Park, Manse Street, Galashiels. The event is organised by Gala Harriers Athletic Club and has a total entry cap of 150 places.

Organisers prefer online entry but on the day entry is available. Registrations and number collection take place on the event day. The published entry fee for the 5k is £5 for early entries; the Meigle shorter run is an on the day only event and costs £2.
All finishers in the 5k receive a medal. Prize categories include first junior male under 16, first junior female under 16, overall winner female, overall winner male, and first male and female in the 40 plus and 50 plus age groups. Age is determined on the day of the race.
