Rouse FFA Crawfish Crawl 5k
The Rouse FFA Crawfish Crawl 5k is an untimed community 5k held on the Rouse High School campus in Leander, Texas on May 2, 2026. The course is a loop entirely on school property, described as safe and easy to navigate. The event is walker and stroller friendly, and leashed dogs are welcome. For safety, bikes, scooters, and skateboards are not permitted on the course.
Registration carries a fee of $30.00. Participants who register by midnight on April 21 are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Packet pickup takes place at the RHS Barn on May 1 and May 2. Parking is available in the front parking lot and the student parking lot.
Following the 5k, Rouse FFA will host a crawfish boil for purchase. A plate costs $12.00 and includes one pound of crawfish plus sausage, corn, and potatoes. 5k participants who order a plate and present their race bib will receive a free drink and dessert. Participants who order a plate are required to select a pick up time during registration.
This event is a fundraiser benefiting Rouse FFA Alumni, a 501(c)(3) not for profit. Funds raised will support student travel for contests and conferences, veterinary medicine and livestock projects, floral design and agricultural mechanics projects, classroom materials, welding shop resources, and barn improvements. The event will take place rain or shine, with possible delays for lightning. No refunds will be issued. Approval of the organization is not an endorsement or sponsorship by LISD.
