Round the Bays Christchurch 2027

Round the Bays Christchurch is an 8.4 km community event held in Christchurch on Sunday 21 February 2027. The course runs along Christchurch's waterfront bays from Tidal View to Thomson Park and is described as flat, with an option to take a scenic route along the beach as participants near the finish.

The event is open to all ages. Infants aged 0-4 years enter free and can receive a finisher's medal. Start groups are used so participants begin near others with a similar pace; named groups include Elite Wheelchair/Disability & Elite Runner, CELSIUS® Runner, Jogger, and Walker and Non Elite Wheelchair/Disability. Children and infants are assigned start groups based on their age or the youngest person in a family group.

Entry fees include GST and transaction fees and are structured across early-bird and standard windows. Entry includes a finisher's medal and certificate, race bib and timing chip, on-course entertainment, water stations and first aid, access to the finishers' festival and sponsor activations, and free event shuttle buses.
