Rotary Trails 2 Ales 5K
Rotary Trails 2 Ales is a community fundraising trail race held at Legacy Park, 200 New Boston Road, Bedford, NH. The event uses the park's cross country ski and connector trails and follows a route that passes soccer, baseball and softball fields, multiple bridges, Powder Hill Trail, the Brook Trail, the snowshoe trail, the Riddle Drop and the Goedecke gully before returning to the soccer field finish. The distance is 5K.
Race management and timing are provided by Millennium Running, with official timing results sent by email to the address given at registration. The event is capped at 500 runners, carries a registration fee of $30 per person, and is held rain or shine; there are no refunds or transfers. Day-of registration is available on the field.
Post-race offerings include grilled burgers, snacks, a variety of ales from local breweries and cornhole. Beer and wine tasting is available to registrants aged 21 and over. Course hazards include roots and uneven, bumpy ground; participants are asked not to bring strollers or pets. Parking is directed to Riddle Brook School and surrounding ball field lots; parking on Chubbuck Road or Wallace Road is prohibited and vehicles may be towed.
