Rotary Club of Orange Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K 2026
The Rotary Club of Orange Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K is a community running event in Orange, Connecticut on November 26, 2026. The event offers a timed 5K run/walk and an untimed 1 mile walk.

The course is described as scenic, sanctioned, and certified, with one water stop. Amenities include live online, text, and email results; free finish line photos and same-day video; personalized bibs for those registered three weeks in advance; on-site bathrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish; hydration at the finish line; post-race refreshments; pre-registered participants receive event T-shirts; and ample parking.
Awards are presented to overall top finishers and to age group competitors. Trophies are given to the top male and female overall. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in age groups that start at 12 and under and continue through 80 plus. Finisher ribbons are provided for walkers.
Registration fees are used for race expenses, are non-refundable and not transferable between years. Early bib pickup is available the day before the event at High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange, CT. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Orange and support food pantries, veterans groups, youth programs, literacy programs, senior care, and scholarships.
