DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS X RotaRun Glow 5K
The event is an evening 5K run and walk at North Central Park in Laredo, TX on November 7, 2026, held in conjunction with a Día de los Muertos celebration. Walkers and families are welcome; children age 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the course.
Glow sticks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring glow gear, lights, bright colors, or Día de los Muertos–inspired attire. The course will be marked with cones at North Central Park and will use the same layout as the Rota Run 5K. Course instructions will be provided on race day.
Registration fees are listed for two periods: $25 for early registration through October 31, which includes a race bib, finisher medal, and an event shirt while supplies last; and $30 from November 1 through race day, which includes a race bib and finisher medal while shirts are not guaranteed. Limited on-site registration will be available.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026; the pickup location is to be announced. Timing will be provided by Swift Timing using disposable timing chips attached to race bibs at packet pickup. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and to male and female age group finishers in categories 18 & Under, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+, and an other abilities category. Age group awards are based on chip time. Free parking is available at North Central Park. The event will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.
