Día de los Muertos X RotaRun Glow 5K
The Día de los Muertos X RotaRun Glow 5K takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at North Central Park in Laredo, TX. This is an evening 5K run and walk held in conjunction with the Día de los Muertos celebration. Walkers and families are welcome; children age 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the course.
Glow sticks will be provided and participants are encouraged to bring additional glow gear, lights, bright colors or Día de los Muertos inspired attire.
The registration fee is $30 and includes a race bib and a finisher medal. Event shirts will be available to the first 250 registrants who register by November 1 and will be distributed at packet pickup; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations received November 1 or later. Limited day of registration will be available.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at a location to be announced. The course at North Central Park will be marked with cones and will use the same layout as the Rota Run 5K. Course instructions will be provided on race day and course information is available on the RotaRun Facebook page.
Professional timing will be provided by Swift Timing with a disposable timing chip attached to the race bib at packet pickup. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners and to male and female age group finishers in these categories: 18 & Under; 19–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60+; other abilities category. Age group awards are based on chip time. Free parking is available at North Central Park. The event will take place rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.
